Track 2 • Red Dirt to Redemption

Open Window
(Nobody Knew)

Clint Wilson
Appalachian summers. Football fields. Fireflies. Spring air through an open bedroom window. A childhood that looked normal from the outside. Nobody knew what was happening behind the walls.

I didn’t clean this up.

This song isn’t nostalgia. It’s memory. The kind that smells like summer air and fresh-cut grass one second, then suddenly reminds you how quiet a house can become when everybody is afraid to say the wrong thing.

This is what it felt like when nobody knew what was really going on.

About the Album

Red Dirt to Redemption is a true story told through music. A cinematic memoir about childhood, chaos, addiction, survival, collapse, recovery, family, violence, faith, and the long road toward becoming somebody different than the person pain tried to create.

Every song is a chapter. Every chapter carries real memories. Some beautiful. Some ugly. Some hard to revisit at all.

Nothing was softened. Nothing was cleaned up for comfort.

You’re Not Alone

If any part of this story felt familiar — if you’ve ever been trapped in addiction, isolation, anger, depression, or the feeling that your life drifted too far off course… there’s more waiting beyond the music.
